The touchpad module consists of a Cirque 35mm Touchpad mounted on top of a controller. The idea is to use this on a split keyboard instead of one of the controllers.
The base price comes in kit form and includes the touchpad and adapter PCB, without a controller or headers. To get a complete, no soldering required module that can just be swapped with an existing controller, add the build service with a controller and headers.
The touchpad uses I2C and thus requires the SDA / SCL pins to be unused! For example, the stock Ferris Sweep PCB uses these pins for switches. Contact us if you're not sure about compatibility.
