Sweep by David Barr is similar to the Ferris Compact, but it supports pro micro compatible controllers.
This is a wired Sweep - wireless firmwares do not support pointing devices very well yet.
As of August 23' we use a modified Sweep PCB that adds hotswaps and diodes. More info here.
The base price comes in kit form and includes a pair of black PCBs, SMD diodes, reset switches and TRRS jacks.
Use the build service to get a keyboard with all the electronic components soldered (assembly still required), or a fully built, assembled and tested keyboard.
I bought a trackball Ferris Sweep. Lovely build. Looks like it was made in a factory. Immense attention to detail and I LOVE the trackball. Also the seller was helpful throughout the process and responded quickly to any questions I had. Would highly recommend!
I’ve built many different sweeps, but decided to pull the trigger and buy this prebuilt for the trackpoint. This is by far my favorite one. Communication with the seller about shipping and setup was great and almost immediate. If you’re on the fence, you will not regret this purchase. I was able to move my pre-existing key map and use the provided build commands with no issues. I was able to add scrolling through qmk macros on a layer, along with mouse button keys; so there is no need for me to revisit a separate pointing device. All in all, I’m very happy!
After a bit of support to get qmk up and running with the new pcb it looks and works great 😊
After using a regular sweep for a while I saw this product and said that I need to stop moving my hand to my mouse everytime.
the keyboard came like it was made in a factory, every solder was perfect and the product finish looked great!
and the trackball is amazing, and I find it really useful.
I Can't recommend this product and Idan enough!
